Making A Three Point Hitch On A Two Point Fast Hitch

First, I cut down the big prongs so they would fit my tractor. I used a cutting torch on the first one, but my tip doesn't cut one inch steel very good and it left it really rough. LOTS of grinding to smooth it up.
The second one I used a cut off off wheel on my angle grinder. Neither way was quick, but the cutoff wheel left a smooth surface.

Next I gathered up some parts from my spare steel pile and a few other things. After some cutting and welding, I have it fixed so that I can remove the bar and top link by taking out only one bolt. The bar is a one inch steel rod that came out of an International drag disc. There were some threaded holes for 9/16 bolts in both lift arms that I fastened the parts to.

Slick! Nice job. I have the adapter arms from Don McA and the bracket that fits over the belt pulley cover. Nice to have the versatility of a 3 pt vs the PITA fast hitch.
