when I go to test drive the Horn-Draulic loader, I am concerned that there might be some crud in the cylinders that might cause issues with the TC system. They have been sitting outside for over 10 years...they may not even work. Should I be looking to "flush" them out before or not be concerned.

If it were me and they been sitting outside for 10+ years I would go ahead and rebuild them. The seals won't last long if they don't leak now it won't be long. If you go ahead and rebuild them you know what you have. If you hook it up and go it may cost you more in the long run.
