Lo Boy model Year?

I am trying to figure out the year of my Cub Lo Boy and the only number on the data plate is 6712 J. I believe it makes it a 1958, am I correct or should I look for a different serial number elsewhere on the tractor?

JMHO. You can double check the year by looking for the casting code on the major castings. In addition the the numerical numbers for date and month, the letter D is for 1958. BTW, Welcome to the forum. We like to see pictures!

BTW, the J in the end of your serial number means it has a Rockford clutch.
