International 2000 Trailer

Hi, I have been looking for an International trailer for a while now. I have come across a 2000. I do not know the year. It does tilt with a 6 x 10 deck. It is in somewhat poor condition with some thru rust in the front and rear crossmembers. It has been painted black and has mismatched lights. I feel the deck would need to be replaced. There is no paperwork for it. The seller wants $1,000 for it. I was looking to get some other opinions about the value for it. Any opinion or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
 
I had a 1200 IH trailer that I had hopes to restore and use. I came to the realization that I probably wouldn't get it done. So I put it up for sale. The buyer drove about 300 miles for it, and didn't even haggle on my asking price of $625. It was in decent condition, had no significant metal issues, the deck was probably in need of replacement. This was 5 years ago and the 1200 is the smaller version of the 2000 model. I don’t see them come up for sale often, but this appears to be a ballpark price for trailers in that condition. The one you mentioned sounds a little high for it's condition, perhaps he has some wiggle room on his price 🤔
So, I guess it boils down to how much you want it and if you're willing and able to get it in the condition you want.
