Good morning all from the hot , sticky deep south . We had some straight line winds come through a week or so ago . One particularly strong one knocked a 10"-12" limb out of a water oak , with the big end right on top of a 4' chainlink fence . smashing it down to a foot off the ground . First thought was to run to the local hardware and get some new fencing , But the "New Jersey" half of my ancestry kicked in (;)). Just had to get one new top rail , the loader did the rest . It pulled the chainlink back up perfectly. Notice I could not , in this situation , use my wheelbarrow:ROFLMAO:coppersmythe........... .20260829_103925.jpg 20260829_103946.jpg

Great thinking!! Good reminder that that type of fence really isn't rigid.. I'm glad it worked out so well.
Plus, you got to use a toy that probably doesn't push much snow down there! 🤣
