IH 140 Fast Hitch Parts - VS - Other IH Tractors?

I know this is a long shot but does anyone know what fast hitch parts from a Super A/100/130/140 are common with other tractors, C/200/230/240, etc.? Just curious. I'm picking up a 140 that has parts of the fast hitch missing, so I have plans to visit a few tractor junkyards to start searching.

Or, on another thought, am I just better off going with a 3-point setup? I do have a brush hog that I could use if I had the 3-point, however, I was leaning towards restoring the fast hitch then using a 3-point adaptor if I wanted to use 3-point implements.

Thanks,
Bill

The latch is probably the same!

I like the fast hitch on my cub! And have a small handful of fast hitch implements for it!

I have a fairly nice Super A (non Fast Hitch) that I have been seriously been thinking of putting up for sale because I just dont have the desire to try and find implements for it, and in my area it seems the only things I see is cultivators and belly mowers!

Rarely see single point fast hitch implements for the 100, 130, and 140 class tractors here!

And I already have a much nicer diesel tractor with a three point, soooooo........

But if I was in your shoes, I would probably go with the fast hitch and get / make the 3 point adapter!

The only attachments that you will have a problem with are PTO-driven attachments like mowers.

It's easy to forget to disconnect the PTO shaft on a trailing implement to prevent it from being bent when you turn. Don't ask me how I know that.....
