what? I know what it is but do you ?

If you really know what it is, leave it for the others to take an honest guess at it. Us older fellas have probably used one many times so let's see if the other guys can figure it out. More pix will be added as we go.

I am quite sure it is not the frame for a butterfly net for my kids made them and they were round or nearly so. Doesn't look like the frame for a minnow scoop either. A fish tank net or scoop it doesn't look like either. It certainly isn't the shape of a gingerbread cookie cutter either. I guess I still am not old enough. Bill I am sure your grand parents told you about it for you are way younger than I.

Never saw one in my life before. 2nd pic it looks a totally different thing. I will be keeping tabs on this so I can be enlightened as to what it really is. :?
Donegal Cub

Back scratcher, carpet beater, French toast flipper or paint stirrer  :D :D
......hey maybe it's a Brat cooker

Oliver Farmall actually has it right. Put your hot dogs in the slots, push the spear forward to hold 'em in place and head for the campfire. I've been cleaning out the garage while it's been cold out and found this on the back of a shelf.

While digging around I pulled this old lumber yard apron out of a box. I like the phone number on it. Reminds me of Junior Samples' BR-549.

I guess I better hang this stuff on a wall somewhere.

I like your Lumber Apron Bill. Reminds me of the aprons we had in my Dad's shop back in the 60's and 70's. Can't find many any more except maybe Home Depot.
