Hydraulics Question

So, 1972 low boy. Three point hitch piston won’t work. Trying to figure out best way to trouble shoot. So I have taken apart the distribution valve and it appears to work. Engage arm moves freely and piston moves. Checked the lines and the rear piston moves freely. Hydraulic pump was recently replaced by previous owner and line to the distribution balance is connected. Loader hydraulics off the same pump work fine. Made sure the gear/hydraulic fluid is filled to spill out. Any thoughts on where to go from here?

Welcome to the Forum. Not sure about the specifics of your question but the Number Series LoBoy tractors did not have 2 way hydraulics. It only works to lift, no down pressure. Stan

I think that someone has posted about a selector valve that controls the hyd. flow to the 3 point. I don't have the manual but there's operators manuals for Number Series located at the Resources link at the top of this page. Stan
