How difficult is it to install a Touch Control?

My '48 Cub does not have hydraulics (Touch-Control).
I've not decided yet to find one & install it but I wanted to ask anyone who has done so how difficult the process is.

If you are mechanically inclined, it is not overly complicated. The biggest issue is the preparation. It is much easier if you remove the hood. There are step by step instructions in at least one of the manual publications. When an if you get to that point, and have any questions, just ask.

Or bring it along with the parts to a Cubfest and you'll have lots of help and advice on getting it installed and working properly. JMHO Stan

The closest Cubfest to you is about six hours away in Oxford, NY. Unfortunately, the 2026 version was just this past weekend. It is always the first weekend in October. Think about attending next year. You won’t regret it.

Yes. I'd love to. I restored many Vintage Motorcycles - BSA, Triumph & Norton. I was a member fo the CVMG (Canadian Vintage Motorcycle Group) for many years & listed as an expert on Norton motorcycles.
Their rallies were great with races, swap meets, dinners & lots of old guy talk.
Same idea as Cubfest - different machine.
