I wont need the double weights for transplanting, I have them on the tractor because I am going to use the extra weight to till and make 56" furrows on about 3 acres. I talked to one of the owners at the holland company and I explained what I was doing and he said it will work perfectly for hemp and told me what settings to use. He even gave me the colors to restore it and he has original decals. He said its the only cub fast hitch one hes seen in about 30 years. He even has all the replacement parts for it if I need anything to include the watering system. He said for my garlic, remove the arms bolted to the chain that hold the plant, and bolt on a piece of PVC pipe instead and just drop the garlic cloves down the pipe. He told me the despeeder is perfect for the garlic because the cloves take longer to slide down the pipe when it comes around. It gives it time to set properly.
I went through EVERY part of the tractor flushing with kerosene, resealing everything, adding fresh fluids, new wiring, 12v conversion with electronic ignition, and the engine was rebuilt right before I bought it and was bored thirty over. Should be a solid field ready tractor now. Hopefully better than when it rolled off the line, at least mechanically.
