My name is Zachary Taylor (yes like the president and I don't know if I'm related) and I live in Callahan, FL.

Bought my Cub Lo-boy 154 about 2 years ago from a local guy in Georgia. So far as I can tell I'm the 2nd owner and it's lived a pretty good life. He told me it was always keep indoors and the transmission was recently rebuilt a few years back. Tractor has also had a soft restoration.

The tractor was a great deal I think. I paid $1500 cash and the tractor has creeper gear, belly mower deck, and 3 point hitch.

My granddad and dad got me into smaller lawn and garden tractors when I was younger and I just recently picked up interest in them again in the last 5 years or so.

Go easy on me but I'm mainly a Deere guy with a little bit of Snapper as well. I also have a 1225 lawn tractor and 1250 hydrostatic garden tractor.

I'm a air traffic controller at Jacksonville International Airport currently was in air force for 8 years after high school as ATC as well. Being inside working white collar job 6 days a week makes me have the itch to get dirty working on tractors on my day off.

Can't forget the family too I've been married 14 years now and have 3 kids. Also have a border collie, outdoor cats, chickens and guinea hens.

Hi,
Your LoBoy looks good in your pictures.
Below is a picture of the front of the LoBoy 154 brochure. It doesn't say what year the 154 is on it.
Yours still looks about like the brochure picture. :)

If you haven't discovered it yet the SN data plate is on the left side top rail just behind the radiator (unless it's been removed). Using the SN, you can look up the year built in the table of information located on the HOME page at the top left corner of this page. Numbered Series 154's were built from 1968-1974 with just over 29,000 total built. Stan
