Head bolts

Probably really depends on the manufactures recommendations.

Best to consult the service manual for what your working on if possible!

Are the holes blind or do they go into water passages? If blind holes I'd use copper antiseize. If in water use liquid Teflon. It will both seal out any water and will keep bolts from seizing up.
