Head bolt sealer

Which would be best for sealing the head bolts?? Have anti-seize compound or permeates # 2 (non-hardening)! Getting ready to button back up after doing the valves!! Dusty B

I prefer a Teflon sealer, seals against the coolant and the bolts will always come out easy if they need to be removed in the future

It seems to me a bit of a stretch when Permatex calls their #2 "non-hardening". OK, it doesn't turn into an adobe brick but it sure is stiff, no way you could consider it a lubricant. The torque specs for the bolts assume the bolt is lubricated. PTFE paste is a sealer and a lubricant, pretty well makes it the ideal choice for the head bolts.

For anyone that is unsure, "Teflon" is a trademark name for PTFE. So a recommendation for either is the same thing.
