Grease Gun

do you mean one that does not drip oil as the grease separates as it gets hot ? if so let me know if you find one

let me know if you find one
Ha ha! I've owned a variety of grease guns for most of my 79 years and I have yet to find one. The expensive ones leak just as bad as the cheap ones. Just thought someone may have stumbled onto a good one.

I wonder if you use high temperature grease if it would be more stable and not get oily. It may get hard and not pump out of the grease gun.

This a 1lb tub that is useful for coating things to keep from rusting and stays in place.

That's what happened to my tube of Mobil 1. Had to take the gun apart to clean out the dried/hard grease. It's an OTC that I bought from NAPA, figured it was a good one.
Bought a small gun that uses the 3oz cartridges so I don't throw away any grease that has separated (Cub Throwout Bearing Grease) or High Temp grease uses on what few serviceable parts there are on modern vehicles.

Probably nobody. I had one I bought in the 80s from a local service station repair warehouse that I don't remember having any leaking or any other issues from. I've bought two in the past 3-5 years and hung them in the barn and put cardboard under them. The main one I use now came from Northern Tool. It doesn't want to release from the fittings without a lot of effort, and a lot of mower fittings don't give me much room to muscle it off. I thought it would get better after greasing a couple of hundred fittings, but not yet. I'd pay extra to find one that performs like my old ones.

got a new tip for my old gun and it is hard to get on and off fittings. Also found it dont work on metric fittings that come in the mini ex's and mini skidloaders! I had to replace them all with regular metric fittings and all is good.
A lot of the problem is the fittings themselves being junk too.
