Meet Gladys....a 1985 VW Vanagon w/ 246k miles on her....I bought her 3 years ago with intentions of driving her to Canada....2 years ago, Labor Day, I drove her to Canada...to the Gaspe Penninsula & all of Quebec, Canada....then back home through the White Mtns. to Grafton, MA....2200 miles w/ 'braggin rights'....she never faultered or broke down....she is my newest found love, named after my grandmother, who owned 2 VW buses in her day. A 1961 & a 62 and drove them frequently to Florida when Florida wasn't fashionable to go to.....here she is...
