Did you think of doing it yourself? There's not much to it. Get a new set of brushes, clean up the commutator bars and the slots between each bar. That's where the problems usually are. The bearings are usually O.K. If your Cub is a '49, you have a cut-out relay and not a voltage regulator. The cut-out relay lasts forever. When you're done be sure to polarize the generator.
