Field cultivator

So I am look for a good way to turn my garden and was thinking about a feild cultivator instead of my plow and disc I have been using. I'm looking for input on how good of a job the feild cultivator works over all thanks

I have used mine instead of the plow to rip the garden up, but you'll still need to disc or roto-till to have a decent seed bed. The field cultivator works like a chisel plow, but it only runs a few inches deep. John

Look up Farmall cubs cultivating on YouTube and you’ll see. You can set them up with different tools to suit your taste or job

Depends on your soil condition and what is growing there now. The field cultivator won't rip out all types of cover or bury residue.

Hi,
If your place has grass or sod where you will be growing crops, a cultivator doesn't turn the sod under.
A plow turns sod under, so the grass is gone. Maybe you knew already. :)
