Fencing Pliers

They are listed uner the category "Electric Fence Wire & Tape". Looks like they just used that category's spec format. I've seen that sort of thing in other catalog listings.

Tomorrow, finishing up building an electric fence around the seedling nut trees.

Then loading up the Gator to check the fence line; leather gloves, chain saws, barbed wire, fence staples and wire clips, fence stretcher, diagonal wire cutter, hammer, channel lock pliers, and worn out fencing pliers. The worn out fencing plier are great for making wire splices. Any other task, the other tools are better, much better.

Channellock brand has them, and as far as I know still made in Meadville Pa, good ole USA

Mine cut high tensile good!

Won't cut high tensile good, for long. I use bolt cutters on high tensile.

Mine are diamalloy brand. The did have a knurled face but not much is left after years of use. I think the hammer head type you linked to would not work as good for pulling staples out as mine or the channel lock brand

I have the same ones, they’ve been good to me.

They are not actual fencing pliers, but I have found these to be very useful on the tractor my flail mower is on. I frequently cut along neighbors fences, etc. and that sliding pivot gives you more leverage when needed.I have owned a pair of 8 inch cutters I bought when I thought $35 was expensive. This pair of 7 inch cutters is $60. They are great for cutting things from piano wire all the way up through Gaucho fence wire. Irwin tools have a lifetime warranty, including wearing out.

Hopefully, Son is in the big city/big box store picking up a pair of Irwin fencing pliers.

First fence line check today. Tree down on fence line, couple of breaks to repair, and a spot or two to stand up. Tomorrow, nice warm fun filled day fixing fence.

How is those new fencing pliers?
Son picked up the Irwin fencing pliers. Worked great, easily cut fencing wire, good for wire wrap on T posts. Didn't use the as a hammer.

I did use the old fencing pliers to clamp wires to be splices and the Irwin to wrap the wire.
