I’ve been watching videos on this stuff. It’s amazing to thing all these old timers made this stuff on manual machines. No Cnc. They have my utmost respect.

More detailed pictures showing the chamfer on top of the shaft under the handle and also the piece welded to shaft. The welded piece isn’t square, it’s rectangular and also offset.
