B Brockpend Active member Sep 13, 2021 #1 So I’m gonna rebuild this M but just to see, I was pulling it around the yard trying to get it to free up, it’s in 5th gear and the back tires are rolling but the engines not turning over. Could this be some type of clutch slippage?

G Gary Dotson 501 Club Sep 14, 2021 #2 Yes, it could be, if you’re sure 5th gear is fully engaged. Is the clutch pedal moving freely?
G Gary Dotson 501 Club Sep 14, 2021 #4 If it has sat a long time, the clutch pressure plate may be a ball of rust. You’ll just have to dig into it and see what you have.
