As we know it has been a struggle lately to find a new quality radiator that fits a Cub, so I have been trying different ones to see if one really exists now. I bought a Atlantic 1706-6511 radiator , this part # is common among many suppliers and the box is clearly marked coming from Atlantic Tractor which is a parts whole seller/importer, the radiator is well packed in a decent box to hold up in shipping, the radiator is made in Turkey, all brass, the sides on the factory radiator are open fins while this replacement has supports on the side which makes it much more rigid than the factory design, I think this is a good thing and it all fits in the factory side supports, also comes with a thick gasket, BUT have one problem with it, was installing in a round nose cub, it was all good until I went to put the hood on, the issue is the overflow tube in the neck is higher than the factory one so you cannot have a overflow hose the way its made, thought maybe I could just sweat out the over flow nipple and make a new different bent tube but under the paint the overflow was tig welded, so I ended up swapping the neck from the old factory radiator, was pretty easy as it all was new, now the radiator/Hood all fit with a new tube, the radiator neck sticks up a little higher than the original, I believe a square nose hood is slightly taller and maybe they are trying to make it fit early and late cubs ??
so aside from the neck issue the quality and fit was good
