Farmall Cub Drawbar dimensions??

Is there anyone out there who has the dimension for the outside of the drawbar mounting arms?

I went to mount my drawbar with the attached mule drive assembly for a Woods 42 belly mower, and the draw bar was too wide to fit up onto the finals! I've never seen this issue, so I can only assume the drawbar is bent.
On mine, the outside to outside, where the bolt fits onto the brackets, mine measures 28-5/8"

Figured I would confirm with someone else's dimensions.

I measured three of mine (I didn't have time to measure them all) and found two at 28 3/8 and one at 28 1/2.
 
Dale, visually I can see that the drawbar is slightly bent. Put a strait edge along the surface that would be the farthest to the rear, if installed on a tractor. I think you’ll see where that bend is. A blacksmith could take the bend out. Or someone with OA torches and a little experience with metal working. If you go to Buddy’s in March, take it with you.
 
The member-made drawings of the Cub-54 substitute drawbar give a (verified) width of 29.25. That would match the dimension to the outside of the drawbar side plates. You would need to subtract 2x the thickness of those plates for the dimension you are looking for.

I have adjusted drawbars for a proper fit using a hydraulic press. You need to set it so the press is pushing right at the twists on each side. They are a little springy. So, you need to squeeze it a little past to get it to spring back to the right dimension. After you get the dimension at the twists, you may find the front ends need a little adjusting.

I will plan on taking this drawbar to the LA cubfest and seeing if someone can work their magic on it! Meanwhile, I think I'm going to buy one from a gentleman nearby just so I can get this mower mounted and get this tractor out of my garage! It's time it earned its keep!
