Tractor runs great. Plan on tearing down and fixing up a few things and painting.
How did you get the picture to post? I tried the same as I do on ther boards but it would not show up. What was I doing wrong?

I went back in and did some changing and got the pctures to show up. Never had that problem before.
Also corrected the year of the tractor. :roll:

A nice original in it's "work Clothes" is refreshing.

That's the only thing that I honestly don't like about my Cub. As nice as mine looks, I'd rather have a time-worn original finish like on your A.
Not the original decals, probably a repaint somewhere in it's past.

The picture of my A does not look too bad, however a closer look reveals the paint is not original. Someone has repainted it before and did not do a very good job.
The paint is not all the same color and there are places on the grill where you see brush marks. As someone else points out the decals are also incorrect so I plan on cleaning and painting to look like new if possible. I want it to look like new which means I do not want the shiny glossy automotive type finish of some show tractors. I found the proper decals for it so hopefully I can get the paint to look like I want it. I have a BN that is painted up with the high glossy finish which looks great but it almost looks too good. Hopefully my A turns out to look more like the original new look.

A closer look and I see what you mean. It is a very nice tractor.Probaly one of the last built before wartime shortages. The farmer that bought it was lucky,and seemed to know it by the way it was kept.

A is like the Big Brother of the Cub. Has an engine that's almost double the displacement of the C-60 (112 ci), and generally larger all around. It also entered production sooner than the Cub. I don't know when it ended production. I have yet to see one with hydraulics - was that offered on the A?Bugler":u7olg3bv said:
