Tractor runs great. Plan on tearing down and fixing up a few things and painting.

I'll probaly get flamed for saying this; but as nice and straight as that tractor is, if the paint is original , I would leave it alone. The world is filling up with tractors that are painted up better than they ever were.
A nice original in it's "work Clothes" is refreshing.
Best,

A is like the Big Brother of the Cub. Has an engine that's almost double the displacement of the C-60 (112 ci), and generally larger all around. It also entered production sooner than the Cub. I don't know when it ended production. I have yet to see one with hydraulics - was that offered on the A?Bugler":u7olg3bv said:Great tractor,, What is the Difference between the Cub and the "A" :? :?

My friend's A has an exhaust lift on it. Wild-looking device.trentm71":1zcnql11 said:Hydraulics weren't available until the Super A came out, I think in 1948, which replaced the regular A. The A did have an exhaust lift option though, but I've never seen one. But I haven't seen alot af As. I think they were quite common in tobacco country though.
