Fan oil slinger

No picture but if you are looking at the front of the hub it curves from the center right handed. It looks like it scoops it right up.

I dont have any actual pics but that bottom is the wrong way. Just turn it oppisite of the bottom pic. I am sure BD or GW has some pics
 
I couldn't find a picture either but Podge has it right. Just picture yourself at the front of the tractor cranking the engine over. The outer end of the coil must be positioned so that it will scoop up the oil and sent it to the center where the shaft is. It just takes a little visualization of the operation to get it right.
 
These answers are on the right track, but I think headed the wrong way. The picture in the I&T maual is the wrong direction.

Keep in mind that (as Donny pinted out while I was typing this) the shaft and slinger (actually impeller) are stationary. When it is in place on the shaft, if you place your finger at the tip of the impeller and slide it along the impeller clockwise (the direction the oil is rotating) it should move towards the shaft.
