Has anyone extended a cub cadets frame? As the 104 project is winding down I’m thinking ahead. I have a wide 129 frame roller that’s scrap. I was thinking of mating the 129 nose to a rear narrow frame. The extra room would give me more space for hydraulics? Oil tank, pump. Any Thoughts?

Hannah took over Aron’s Cub Cadet 100 pulling tractor 3 years ago and between the two of them determined that by lengthening the tractor, she wouldn’t need as much weight on the front. She pulled 8,600lbs on a steel flat bottom sled at the 2019 Tolland County 4H Fair.
Hannah did all the welding adding 19” to the length of the frame. Shift lever is behind the seat.

Wow 8,600 lbs congrats. I was happy pulling over a 1/4 cord of firewood in my trailer. I have a creeper I just purchased for it. I also have three sets of 154 finals. Does the 154 finals bolt up to the cadet tranny? I have a 12 hp kolher for it.

I was brain storming in my mind about another chain driven axle connected to the tranny axle. A chain on both sides to the extra axle driven from the tranny. But it needs suspension to flex with a chain idler. The front end does nothing but if that was a live axle in the front a 6x6 cadet. When I was logging my 4x4 one ton truck with dual wheels and lockers went anywhere.
