Demonstrator cub in paint booth

Time is getting short for this tractor to be completed for RPU, but we've decided on a little different strategy in the paint dept. My son Dave is getting quite good with the HVLP gun, so he painted the base tractor yesterday. our paint booth leaves a little to be desired, but you couldn't beat the lighting :!: :!:

the hood and fenders will go to my friend at the body shop this week.

i think i'll need sunglasses to drive it 8) 8) 8) :lol:
 
Now thats what I call close 8) Looks like great progress, be sure to let us see it when complete :D

You will definiately need your sun glasses, that is white! I'm still keeping my red paint in the can, but hoping to see it on the outside of the can real soon. :D

In other news, RPRU is not yet out of te question, my son has expressed an interest in going down to PA with me. Stay tuned...

I've got a paint booth like that! :D It worked for me. Would've liked an indoor place, but I made do. Your cub is looking great! I want a demo one day....
 
Sweet!

The only thing I don't like about painting outside it the wind (alway got it here, good for sailboat races) and the little bugs that seem to want to stick to the new paint! I do like the lighting.... especially after painting in a garage in the winter.

I could always come up with something for David to practice on, but it looks like he has it down.
