I just bought my first cub and have couple of questions. It is a 49, what year did they quit using the circle cub decal. Where is the best place to et the correct deals.

i have had good luck with Valu Bilt and Stiener, didn't get the Circle cub decal-52' but did get the full decal set for the cub and H, they were good quality, hope this helps, jostev.

I just wish that, after buying my first Cub, my biggest worry was which decals went on it :)

I had to tear the front end off it and replace the bolster and who-knows-what-else and I *still* don't have decals to replace the faded ones I painted over with rust-inhibiting primer...

The circle Cub decal was dropped July 28, 1947, and the hood side decal changed McCormick-Deering Farmall, to McCormick-Deering Farmall Cub at the same time, according to the book FARMALL Letter Series Tractors by Guy Fay and Andy Kraushaar.
I like the decals from Maple-Hunter, for correctness.

Trust me, it needs more than decals. That was just the first thing I wondered about. Luckily I bought it from a guy who had it for 30 years so it's not real bad, and it was cheap.
