cub rims

There are several 12 inch, 5 bolt wheels from older compact cars that will fit. The critical factor is the center hub opening diameter. Take yours with you to the junk yard.

5 lug on x 4.5 bolt center. For the front a lot of lawn mower tractor rear wheels have that pattern and or trailer wheels with that pattern.

You can get trailer tires at Walmart every day and many farm stores. Cub Cadet rears work on Cub fronts if the offset isn’t too much. Most vintage garden tractors use 5 on 4 3/4 bolt circle. Many two wheel tractors also use the same pattern. Ford and Dodge use 5 on 4 3/4 on many cars. Small skinny space saver spares for some modern cars will work also. Make sure center hole is large enough to go over hub. You could even use 13”,14”,15”,16” if that’s what you find that will bolt on for temporary. Be cautious when using trailer wheels with original lug bolts as they have bigger holes and the lug bolt can slip through the wheel lug holes. I have one that wants to come off this way. (Not using tractor, only sitting in storage.)

I had a nice set of 12" trailer wheels with almost new turf tires. The problem was the offset. I had to turn the wheels backward so they would fit.

We purchased rims with tires from Tractor Supply. Less expensive than purchasing the rims and tires separately.

Check around for best offer.
