Cub pedal tractor

Just wondering if anyone knows of a cub pedal tractor for sale... We borrowed a massy pedal tractor for my sons 1st birthday photos and he loves it. Thought it would be nice to find him one that matches his 48 cub we/I'm restoring for him .
 
First, and only, time I saw one was at the guy’s house from whom I bought the manure spreader. He had a whole barn decorated up like a 1950’s gas station / soda fountain and row upon row of pedal cars and tractors. Had a nice Farmall Cub pedal tractor. A trip that was a memory-maker for me and my daughter.

Hope you can find one.

I don't think a company ever produced a Farmall/IH Cub pedal tractor but I could be wrong. I think any that you see were custom made. Scale Models made a couple different Cub Cadet pedal tractors.

Wow, looks like it might be partially plastic. Certainly well done except the black headlights. Same as the one in Stanton's photos. I wonder what company made them?
 
I live in Pennsylvania and there was a gentleman who had a company called Potters pedal tractors.... he was out of Cochranville Pa. He build all kinds custom pedaltractord I remember talking to him when he was getting ready to build the cub pedal tractor. He even emailed a pic to me when he started making them. He also had a shop that he built them in...... he had two farm boys from Ohio that did his castings. He said that he’d only make about 100 tractors of each model and break up the castings. Then he would load them up and head out to the Midwest and sell them. I remember the first time I met him I getting some tires for a wagon that we had when we were little and he said it was worth 400.00 dollars. I told him it was going to be hooked up to a new Farmall M pedal tractor. He laughed and said you gotta to love it. I heard he is now retired. Check outback toys in Lititz Pa. if your looking for pedal tractors. Richey
 
I was trying to figure out how you would pedal it with the pedals like that. :? I couldn't see how you would get very far.
Then I read in the thread Barnyard posted the link to about a "rocking motion" ????
I guess then there's a spring that pulls the pedals back and some type of ratchet and pawl to engage them when they are pushed???

From what I understand, both feet of the driver pushes both pedals at the same time. It uses a pumping or pushing motion.

Yeah, I understand that part, but how exactly do the pedals get back to the start of the cycle? That's where I figure there's a spring to return them for the next push cycle. Then since there's only motion when the pedals are pushed in one direction there has to be some kind of clutch, ratchet drive, etc to freewheel while the pedal is returning. Something on the order of a single speed coaster bike maybe? Without some sort of clutch, you would just move back and forth about six inches as you rocked the pedals.
