Cub front wheel

I can't swear that there weren't other wheel sizes like the rear rims. Maybe someone more knowledgeable than I can answer that.

The front wheel is a standard wheel. The one used on the standard Cub and the offset Cub Lo-Boy are identical. However, the same style wheel was made in a variety of widths and used on many brands of lawn and garden tractors, including Cub Cadets. A wheel that someone is describing as from a Cub or Lo-Boy could be a wider rim had found its way there as a used or replacement wheel.

Thank you for the info.

Jim Becker has you covered on the wheel size. I noticed you're a new member so I'll throw this in. If you are talking about a Number Series LoBoy that's a different animal and different wheel sizes. JMHO Stan

Cub Cadet Lo-Boy is a different animal all together!! Thats the number series. Most of them had the small fat wheels on them but I have a parts 185 that has tall skinny 12" wheels on it. Havent looked lately but dont think the wheels would fit.

A picture would answer a lot of questions. Some 154's had solid wheels that were held on by the spindle nut (I have 2 of those). Others used lug nuts to attach the rims. Can't tell which ones without looking it up. I think I've seen pics of 154's, 185's and 184's with 12 inch balloon type fronts, rims with lug nuts. We're all shooting in the dark until we find out what he's got. JMHO Stan

I think this is what you are looking for, size/application/part number, etc. TC37F 79 Edition Should be available in the Resources folder. JMHO Stan

Did you buy it or annoy the seller with questions to the point where they pulled down the ad? ;)

5.30-12 is a common trailer tire size. They can be squeezed on to a Cub rim without too much trouble.
