Cub Database Update (2019)

1955 cub with fast hitch that I have
Serial number. 188467
Engine serial number. L90182
Engine date code. 2 25 A

Original paint except the grill was replaced with a white grill

I would like to add my two Cubs to the database:

Interestingly, I found the original cover plate for the hydraulic pump hole in the toolbox when restoring!

1948 Cub
Tractor Serial: 42915
Engine Serial: 43422
Engine Casting #: 7-15-R
Engine Block Part #: 251341R1
Head Casting #: 7-27-R
Bolster Casting #: 9-2-R (it might be 8-2-R, the number is kind of worn)
Torque Tube Casting #: 8-5-R
Transmission Part #: 351530R1
Transmission Casting #: 5-26-R
Axle Extension Casting #: 8-7-Q
LH Final Drive Casting #: 8-2-R
RH Final Drive Casting #: 7-29-R
No hydraulics installed

As a side note, I remember years ago I submitted this information to another Cub registry on a different website. It had a nice form to fill out for submitting the information. I can't for the life of me remember what that site was called and cannot seem to find it anywhere on the internet so I'm assuming it is defunct. Does anyone remember this or know anything about it?

Thanks for maintaining this database, it's super interesting!
Ben

1963 cub sn 221833J
Purchased from New Albany (Indiana)Truck and Tractor on 11/3/1963 for $1700.
New 42-C4 $150
Used plow $100
Used Disk $100
Used Cultivators $71
traded in a John Deere tractor, mower, plow, disc for $350 trade
Pop bought it from original owners in 1969 for $1200.
I have the original credit papers, but have misplaced the tractor bill. Iirc, deluxe seat was something like $25…
Tractor is not well traveled…less than 10 miles from original owner, and less than 25 from the plant. Have everything except the disc.

Anyone know what happened to the serial number/castings number chart? It says the page cannot be found......

Click on the HOME (top left corner, then information, then select from the dropdown list that appears. That might be what you're looking for. Also TM Tractor has a list on their webpage. Here's some info that I collected over time. Stan

I was looking for the chart someone was updating with owners input that showed their specific cubs with the options of listing casting codes on all the different parts. I was thinking it was the one that said 2015?

That might be Raymond Durban's database pdf file 2015 which has a lot more info about the part numbers/casting codes/different types & dates of changes etc. It's still buried in the forum in Barnyard's file somewhere as far as I know. Stan
EDIT: Go back to page 1 of this post and the link is posted in the first post on that page. Hope this helps. Stan
