...so does that mean they just look good in your toolbox?

I keep a pen and pencil in my shirt pocket, also use it to put small parts in, nuts, bolts, candy for church, etc.

....but did you have a Pocket Protector? My Dad was the prototypical engineer...white shirt, black tie, pocket protector. :lol:

We machinist call them a scale as well

Free ones with advertising are better, with or without a pocket.

When I was employed, before retirement, the company had monthly safety meetings. At the meeting they handed out a quiz. Turn in the correct answers and win a prize, usually a shirt with the company logo. Retired 19 years ago and still wearing the t-shirts.

I was taught "rulers" are wood, Although I have saw some updated ones made of plastic!
