Okay, I've been around for a long time (aka- old) and I don't believe I've ever seen a tool like this. They are kind of cool but probably not something you'd use a lot.

Rosie bought me a set of the long nose straight and curved pliers like that a couple of years ago for Christmas. I use them quite a bit.

I have two pair of these (different brand), one straight and one curved. Yes, I do not use them daily, however, when I do use them I'm very thankful that I have them. Example, the governor end of the throttle rod to remove the cotter pin. After I got them, I was surprised how often I use them. I wouldn't be without them now.

I’ve been eyeing them for a few years, I know I need them, just never pulled the trigger. Go ahead and get them, Ricky, you’ll use them more than you think.

I think I got mine at TSC, and they have been very handy many times. I just need to be careful not get my fingers stuck in the middle hinge. :(

The Crescent cost quite a bit more than the ones at TSC or Harbor Freight, but what I like about the Crescent brand is the double hinge, which allows the jaws to open wider. I probably us the curved jaw more than the straight to get to some of those hard to get to places.

I have the Crescent ones pictured (straight and curved). They are super handy, especially when working on small engines and pinching spring hose clamps and hooking/unhooking carb linkages/springs.

Okay, a week ago I didn't know they existed. Today I have to get a pair!! I stopped in to Menards yesterday and they have several options made by Masterforce for around $20.

Channel lock probably makes the same style, but made in Meadville Pa. USA
The longest Channel Lock needle nose I could ever find was a 9" single hinge.

Got a pair of needle nose that are curved on the end, they're as handy as a pocket on a t-shirt.
