Agree with the guys. Get a new one. There’s no comparison. They’re lighter, stronger and the batteries last. I’d look for a complete kit. More value that way.

Especially this time of year when all the Christmas sales are going on. If you’re going to do it, act before the end of next week. After that, prices go up and selection could be limited.

I use battery tools too, but don’t like their short-lived nature.

Well,---I just found another Craftsman drill!---19 volt jobber, also ni-cad power!---also no charger and a dead battery pack! lol! ---- UNREAL! --- anyway, after some testing,--- the 14.4 runs from the 2 battery setup in one of the trucks and with the 100 amp alternator running, it has power! --- Now to make up a cord and attach it solid to the drill.
Not in the market for the $500. new sets!
