We've had thunderstorms every day since the last week in July. 6.5 inches of rain total and several big thunder storms. One got my desktop computer, wiped out power supply just from static electricity. Found out the next morning it hit a tree in my yard. Blew wooden strips all over my yard. Looked like yard sticks everywhere. No wonder it got the computer, I'm surprised it didn't do more. Tried to find a replacement power supply but no go. They have changed all the connection plugs since I bought the Gateway so after weeks of searching I gave in and bought a new tower. Oh how I loved Windows 7. I hated it when I got it. But I really hate Windows 10 with a passion. Don't under stand why everything has to change just for the sake of being different. I understand if it makes someones life easier, but that's not what their doing. Take for example the power supply they went from round pins to flat pins. So I've been relegated to a smart phone the last couple of weeks. I don't know how some of you use them to converse on the forum. My eyes just won't stay focused with that little screen. So I've been quiet for several weeks. I'm sure glad to be able to converse on the forum. I've missed it. And with the virus I don't get out much. I think I need this. Thanks for putting up with me and letting me vent about computers and change.
