Cornhusker Cub Fest

Any word on preferred hotels for the fest? As of right now we will be there late in the day on Thursday.
Chad, You can check out the Days Inn if you like. It’s the closest motel to the Cubfest. North end of town. There are lots of motels in the North end of town if the Days Inn doesn’t work for you. Within 2 miles there is a bunch of them. If we get enough people the Days in may give a discount.

The hotel is booked and the plans are in place. My family that can come (daughter has FFA state convention this week) will be picking me up at work at 2:30AM Thursday morning. Apple says we are roughly 9 hours from you so hopefully everyone takes a nap and I can just drive without making to many pit stops. We hope to see you around lunch time on Thursday. I’m really looking forward to it.

Great! Looking forward to seeing you. What kind of projects do you have for the Cubfest?

I would like to bring my cub up on Friday for some expert constructive criticism. I bought it at an auction and it looks pretty but has some leaks and other issues. would like to create a list of what needs done and order of attack. hopefully pasture dries out enough to get trailer hooked up tomorrow :) 1953 F-Cub 170849

We pulled back in at home around 6 this morning. What an amazing weekend. I’d like to thank Lew and Frank for all the effort that went into putting this fest together. The facilities were top notch, the food was great as always. It’s always a warm feeling when you arrive and start greeting old friends and make a few new ones.
