Bucket Edge Tamers

Does anyone have experience with these Edge Tamers or made any for use on their buckets, whether for a Cub or other machine?

I have saw them somewhere else, but never used them.

They look nice though. I have a tooth bar on my bucket!

What are you using your loader for thinking that you need those? Snow removal?

Nope. Not familiar with them.
I like the concept though.
I keep my trucks blade off the ground via plow shoes.
Dirt/gravel 2/10 mi. road plus multiple dirt/gravel drives.

Noticed this year my concrete slabs are just starting to show varied levels. Catching shovel blade.
I move snow piles in spring with a Cub bucket. (Someone with a shovel tosses snow on someone else's flower beds... Poor guy can only throw it so far.)
I like the idea of a standoff so not to snag my concrete transitions from gravel or yard to concrete. Not that I wouldn't continue to be mindful and not get snagged on the greater transition areas.

I definitely see the need to gap the cutting edge from a gravel / slag driveway.

I could never understand why someone would plow their snow letting the cutting edge scrape the ground just to end up with half their driveway off in the grass!

Seems counter productive.... Then be out there in the spring raking it out of the grass!

The current first review is not good!

R2 manufacturing says "The right tool for the job." on their webpage.

Using the loader bucket for snow removal is the WRONG tool for the job! (Unless its so deep that it is unplowable!)

I bought a ALLIED 3 point 7 foot back blade back in late 2000's for around $125.

Take the money you would spend on them and put it towards a 3 point back blade!

I have a set for my Kubota, I use the rear blade for most snow removal. For doing my dirt road in front of my property these work pretty well.
I have used them on my Blacktop drive and the work really well when the snow is deep and you cant see the grass edge.
