I didn't look very hard to try to figure out what this is. Figured somebody will know. I see there are still companies in business today with the name HASS.
It's about 10 inches long. Has a brass handle that's fused to a steel extension with eight holes, spaced along it and then at the end a threaded rod about 3 1/2 inches long.
