I have used Booking.com for a few rooms I needed lately and was happy with them till today. I learned today that they do not send the reservation made 3 weeks ago to the motel until the day before, and received a call today that they were canceling my room, the motel was full. Booking.com has good rates, and free cancellation, but they may leave you without a room on short notice.
