any one know what this is?

Mike said he would send me a pic of it in action to post on Monday. I think he is putting it to use this weekend. :D

Okay, Mike sent the pix tonight. I will let him explain. He did say it came out of Hot Springs Arkansas.

I have to talk to Mr E but we might cook a couple of turkeys in Feb.

A big thanks to Chief for making one out of stainless steel.

And thanks to Barnyard for posting the pics. Been having trouble with computer.

Looks like good eatin' !!!!

Don't ya love it when ya post something and then all the critics...

One thing. Mike, be careful around the fumes of burning zinc. My father (who was a farmer, not a metal specialist) always told me that galvanized metals give off toxic fumes when burned/welded etc. Since then I've only welded galvanized metal outside on a windy day.

Just watchin' out for ya... that turkey sure looks tasty !!!

I would think that those same toxic fumes would be imparted to the turkey.

Bob, the spit is stainless but the trash can appears to be galvanized. I have never actually seen this so I don't know. Mike sent the pix so he may know.
