ok i think its a B AC, small little thing, wide front, is supposed to be rebuilt then left sit outside, a year ago I saw it move a tiny little bit but its very close to seized. now , the good news, I am gonna trade some old batteries for it. I know that dead batteries are at .30 a pound here abouts but but I will clean them out and also get a continental flat four I think that was a generator, the powerhead is gone but the rest is there, radiator etc.

hey if it has an engine I am interested in it, thinking about making one of the low rider things :P

got around to taking some pics

the B

Yep, looks like a B, looks like a non adjustable wishbone front axle. SN is on a boss by the shift lever, If the first character is a B, it's a B, if it's a C then it's a C. Don't know why the right side axle looks wider than the left. Maybe optical illusion. Looks like a wide drawbar which might indicate a C. I've got some Allis info if you need something let me know.

I found out one thing, you cant tell by the SN, the tranny is the same for a B and and a C, so over the years many were swapped out. I have nevr seen a narrow tricycle B, they are Cs. That being said there are some Cs with B marked trannys. also I have never seen this style wide front on a C. but, this has a C SN and says its a 48. I think the tractor is newer than that, but who knows when they used the same tranny and chose that location for the SN

Thanks. It's not the same tractor but identical to the one my Grandfather had when I was a kid. First tractor I ever remember driving at age 8.

Because of the wide back axle, That’s a c with a b front axle. They had to change the steering box too,the c is backwards. But if it has a 4 speed trans then it would be an rc

I have 3 B's. a 38 hand crank, hand brake levers, no starter or generator. a 40 hand brake levers, starter but no generator and 48 electric start, generator, and foot brakes.---The B in your pic does look like a C rear end. The B is not much wider than a cub. thanks; sonny

The C rear axle may look offset due to one wheel dish in and the other dish out. Definitely a B wishbone front and B steering box. As others have commented, I think it's a tractor built from parts and pieces of other tractors. Whatever it is I hope you enjoy it.
