Man, I don't know if it'll have power enough to get out of its own way, but 9.5x24's sure made my 1967 Cub look like a whole lot more tractor! I'll have to get some pictures and show a before/after, but wow...
The formerly-derelict 1951 came with a set of nearly-new long-bar-short-bar 9.5's, unbranded no-names, but they look like Goodyear Dynatorque. I wanted those on the 1967.
The Firestones from the 1967 had to go on the 1953, and the oldest Goodyears from the 1953 had to go on the 1951, so it was a three-way swap... and I only had two bottle jacks.
One tool I highly recommend is an electric impact wrench. It made the job go 5 times as fast, without having to lug the air compressor out to the barn. Best $39.99 I've spent at Harbor Freight, and I've had it for years.
