6 volt wire harness

I have a 1948 cub that is six volt and I am looking for a wire harness. I am curious is what people think about the brillman harnesses?

That is where I purchased the harness for my 48 Cub about ten years ago. Every wire labeled and color coded and the harness quality was first class. No complaints and I would buy from them again, if I was in the market for one.

Or you could make your own. I did for both of my '48s using this diagram. I bought a length of 12/3 with ground rubber cable, a length of #10 for the lights, and some heat shrink connectors.
I used the attached diagram which is the best and simplest l found to follow. It may help you even with a purchased harness.

I have to mention a local outfit AgriServices from Alden NY that makes harnesses too. Every bit as good as Brillman or Porch IMHO.

I've purchased 3 harnesses from Agri Services. One for a Cub, Farmall H and M. Excellent quality. If you have future plans to go to 12 volts let them know and they can build it for 12 volt. My H & M are 12 volts now.

Brillman is excellent for all electrical. the harnesses are very accurate and well documented so easy to install.

I have purchased 5 or 6 harnesses from Agri Services in the past and they have all been top quality. They customized the harness for my 706.
