R Rusty red Active member Jun 22, 2021 #1 I removed the manifold on my 2n last night and the 3rd stud from the front came out instead of the nut coming off. When I took it out water came from the stud hole. Does anyone know if there is a water gallery there or do I have a problem?

D dgrapes59 501 Club Jun 22, 2021 #2 It's my understanding that's normal, they open into the coolant passages. I read that you need to drain the coolant when replacing those studs. Best of luck,
