20 Years on the forum.

Good going! How long does it take to beone ofthe "old guys"? I do not have the experience to be one. Vern
 
I just chkd mine, and it's only been 12 1/2 yrs.
I like to think my contributions have been helpful, but l've definitely received more info than l've been able to give. As l've stated before, l can do mechanical tasks, but l'm not a mechanic. Therefore l'd like to thank everyone for their advise and patience over the years.
 
15+ years for me. Obviously I've received a lot more than I've been able to contribute. Thanks to all for their patience and willing to share information. And yes, it has been and still is a lot of fun...........Stan

For good or bad, I never would have stayed with this hobby if it hadn't been for this forum!

I'll never forget a few years ago when the website went down, and I realized I didn't even know anybody's contact information to find out what was wrong. I panicked at the thought of not having access to both the resources, as well as the community knowledge and friendship found here!!

Thank you to everyone who keeps this site running! 🫡
 
To be a REAL old guy around here, you need a joined date of 2/2/2003 or 2/3/2003. That was the start-up of the version of the site before this. Everyone had to rejoin to get logged in to it.
 
For me, it will be 20 next summer. George Willer talked me into joining. Prior to that, I was a member of ATIS, though not on the Cub side.

I recall you bringing a tractor with a bit of an oil leak at the front crank seal. It was cured before you left. I don't remember the exact year, so maybe I'm off on when that happened.

That was 2006, and yes, Cecil led the way in getting the front seal replaced. You were also very helpful in troubleshooting my L-F194 FH Moldboard Plow. I had my two sons with me, Erik was 14 and Aron was 11. Erik is now 33, active duty Army Blackhawk MEDEVAC Pilot and Aron is 30, owning his own Equipment Repair Business in North Carolina.
Retiring in a few weeks and plan on getting out to the Tug in 2026 or 2027.
