Last fall the proverbial hedgerow tree branch too the M Muffler to the metal recycle pile. Now I know I can go to TCS and buy one, but I really don't like supporting them and their imports. What's the best place to buy either a muffler or dual stack straight pipe? My son, loves the sound w/o the muffler at all. Since we wear hearing protection anyway.....

Have you tried your local CaseIH dealer for the muffler?

Not sure where they source them from, but I was looking at mufflers as well as straight stacks in my Steiner catalog for my M the other day. Probably gonna go with straight on mine, nothing out there compares to the sound of an M working hard with straight exhaust.

I'm just shy of 30 and my hearing is already compromised, too many summers of checking irrigation engines with no ear protection. Chevy 454s turning 2100 rpm and running open headers are definitely not easy on the old ears.
