The problem:
I've finally gotten around to getting a new PTO clutch and shaft installed on my 184, but now I'm running into a problem: the clutch pulley wobbles back and forth. I followed the process for aligning the pto shaft bearings, and to try to diagnose the issue further, I installed just the pulley on the shaft. It looks like the pulley is seating on the shaft farther back in some spots. I checked for any foreign material on the tapered part of the shaft and pulley but found nothing. Has anyone ran into this problem before, or is it close enough to just call it good?
