Farmall Cub Delco Starter Switch

I purchased a New replacement starter switch for my 1949 Farmall Cub Delco starter and it didn't work. I comparing the old switch to the new switch, the gap between the contacts was markedly wider than the old switch. Has any one else purchased and used a new replacement switch for a Delco 1109611 starter on a Farmall Cub Tractor. Did it work well and if so, where did you purchase it?

Hi,
The people on here say that TM Tractor Parts has good quality parts. They are near the bottom of the Forums page. I think they have said on here that TM Tractor repairs, or restores tractors, so they actually see which parts work better than others.
Below is their listing for a new starter switch for a Cub, you can look at the pictures.
Be sure to put in the 2 thin pieces of insulation inside the switch, so it doesn't short.

I my opinion, there are at least two styles of switches out there with the same replacement part number, and not all work with the long lever. The one I got, and referenced in the post, did work on my 50 and looks like the switch on my 49
