NAPA Gold Filter Sale

My local (now corporate) NAPA is having their spring NAPA Gold Filter Sale next week, 75% off list. NAPA Gold filters only and subject to availability. I'm confident that other locations will have sales as well, although the dates may be different.

Every time I have taken advantage of those sales, I have been able to place an order for what I wanted, in advance. That may have changed or vary by store.

sale is up to the dealer to have one, not a national thing, you will see it less and less as Napa is slowly getting rid of independent stores and will be all company run, all independents around me are GONE

Our local NAPA store in Grand Island, Nebraska is advertising oil and oil filter sales for the month of February. They have been doing this for years. I might have to pick up a few, just because. The month is getting pretty short.

My local Napa made sure to tell me as soon as I came through the door that they were having their oil filter and tool sale. But, I know most of the guys that work in the 3 stores close to me

$19.49 each at any of the NAPA stores near me, plus 6.35% CT Sales Tax.

WIX 51153 on RockAuto are $9.70 each. Shipping for one (1) is $6.99. Shipping for 2 or 3 is $8.99. Last fall I bought 3, worked out to $13.31 each with tax.

You can buy a case of 12 on Amazon for $119.99, Free Shipping with Amazon Prime.

I picked mine up at NAPA yesterday. $6.69 each. I snagged 4 of them. No gaskets though. Number 1153 NAPA Gold. Baldwin filters were also on sale for $8.02 each I think.

think if you look at the new filters they might have a nice surprise, wix made these forever but china bought them up, new 1153 I got were made by baldwin and says made in USA and no gasket

I had a friend who ran the service area of a GM dealer for years. He told me not to use Wix filters as they had problems with the filter material disintegrating and messing up a lot of engines. I used Wix for years until then. He told me to use K&N on my vehicles. Makes sense the China thing with Wix that your stated. I haven't checked but I would be surprised if K&N makes a filter for the cub. I will check into the Baldwin ones. Thanks for your input.

The Baldwin factory is about 40 miles West on me in Kearney, Nebraska. Too bad I can’t just buy them there directly. The name on the building used to say Baldwin and has been changed to Parker for the last several years.
