Fleece and sparks

Postby Bob McCarty » Mon Dec 05, 2016 12:49 pm

Yesterday I was wearing an old fleece jacket liner under my Carhart. Spent about 10 minutes with a cut off wheel. After I had finished, I looked down and there was a 1" hole melted in the bottom edge of the fleece where it extended below the Carhart. I don't think it would have ignited, but something to keep in mind.

If I had a dollar for every time I set my clothes on fire welding, torching or grinding I could buy yours and my lunch. Thanks for sharing and people stay safe!
